Braylon Edwards now a Jet

The Cleveland Browns have traded troubled wide receiver Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets.

In the deal, first reported by ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Jets sent key special-teams player Jason Trusnik, wide receiver Chansi Stuckey and a pair of draft picks to Cleveland.

I also heard he has already signed to be part of the 2010 News Year's Eve celebration in Time Square...he will be dropping the ball.


I'm sure he'll be a Superstar now, seems like that always happens to Browns players...we trade them somewhere else, and then they decide to start playing. Heck, the whole team went to Baltimore and then went to the Superbowl... curse you Art Modell!!!

The way he played Sunday against the Bengals, I told my buddy, "I bet he's trying to play his way out of Cleveland". He had already said earlier in the week as much when he made a point to mention that he was in year 5 of his 5 year deal, so, "so what?"

...he seems to think Browns fans never took to him because he played at Michigan. Hmmmm, I seem to have seen tens of thousands of #17 Edwards jerseys in the stands each Sunday...no, Braylon, Browns fans just tired of you failing to catch footballs thrown your way, your inside cuts that were supposed to be outside cuts, your tantrums, your nightlife act, your petty jealousy of Lebron James, and your cawing at the QB when he overthrew you a ball you most assuredly would have dropped anyway.
