Headlight bucket blackout

Does anybody have a picture of where the headlight area on the front fenders gets blacked out?

Jet, this is how I did mine.     Originally I voted for doing it the "neat" way by taping off the areas behind the headlights and only doing the "V" of the rad yoke.

The second time I took out the grille I was a bit more daring and went the "messier" route although not the full messy "spray from the bottom of the car and get overspray on the top of the rad yoke bar" etc......

The rad yoke area was balacked out on lighter colored cars so you dont see body color through the grill.

The paint was applied from the bottom of the car up very sloppilly.....overspray everywhere.   Most choose to go the neat route as did I

I have seen the inside of the lower valance both ways, body color and blacked out.

Mine originally had a thick coat of black paint on it.  Resprayed it black

My valence was body color on both side so it is one of those items that can go either way and be correct.

Ah, you mean the inside or back side of the valance, not the bumper frame, mines was the same as the outside color!
