Can somebody give me advice on how to clean up and polish my torque thrusts. Mine have water stains and aren't really that shiny anymore. Tried doing it by hand with some all metal polish junk but the rag turned jet black very quickly.

The rag turned black because it removed the oxidation on the wheel, that's what it's supposed to do.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Dan, It takes a lot of elbow grease to clean them. Just keep working at it. Are you using Mother's ?

Im using some probably not good stuff that I found in a cabinet. I think I will get something to attach to a drill. I worked about an hour on one wheel today with stuff called Maas and it basically still looks the same. The Maas is good stuff it made all my stainless trim really shiny. Do you recommend any specific polish.
