Nice car is right! Sure would be a fun car to take for a spin.  :drive:

Now, I don't particularly care to dissect a cars problems (without being asked, that is  :icon_smile_wink:), but shouldn't the stripe be put on with a little more care? The "500" logo is askance on both sides and looks to be looking for a good home.  :P

Group pix look like they were taken at Bill Luke Chrysler.  I think the owner lurks around here occasionally.  I believe he emailed me when I posted my Charger 500 photos.  But I'm old, I could easily be mistaken. :shruggy:

ive never really followed the C500 market until I joined this board. But to me it seems to be priced a little high......no?
wingless now, but still around.

Was a known VIN, but not a car that I had seen before. $90K seems a tad high in my opinion.

Very nice car.... I think he's on the maximum limits on marketability price-wise, but it'll be nice to know if he can get it. Great color combination and have once owned a 4-speed C500,, it's sweet...........

High asking price, lesser ad presentation; maybe it's one of those deals where  he doesn't really want to sell it but he told his wife he would??

charger500az

Not the wife but the girl friend. Lol. I really need to sell it though as my bills are killing me. I love the car. It drives and handles like a champ. Almost everything on the car is new or rebuilt to like new. Sorry about the pics with the cat. It was at a friends house for a little while and he has 7 cats. I was as suprised as you guys. No harm done however luckily. I've added some more pics. Is anyone here interested. As I have said before, it really hurts to have to sell it. I will not just give it away or take a huge loss. I lowered the price a little. I just hope that someday I can but another 500 or a Daytona after I'm on my feet for a while. I'm a life long mopar fanatic and especially a Charger Guy.

chaaargerb

I was trying to read the fender tag for the body color.

If the car is a B5 blue color car (originally) It was owned buy I guy by the name Dave. He got the car around 1975-6 from the Chicago area. He owned it until about 2002-3.Dave lived about 3 blocks from me. Dave lived on a dead end street in a little town called Trevor Wi. Other then myself and a few close friends the car was hidden.

charger500az

Yes that is my car. It is originally a B5 Blue 440/Hemi 4spd/Dana 60/Sprtrkpk car. I had it shipped to AZ around 4 years ago. I have spent alot of time and money to get it to it's present condition. It's not perfect but all of the flaws are very minor like the 500 decal that was put on a little bit off. It's a one shot deal with that. It doesn't look that bad. I have had it to many car shows. It drives like a beauty. Anyways, the auction ends tommorow. We will see what happens. I need to post here more. I love this site. :yesnod: If anyone is interested at the last minute, give me a call.

My guess is that the "500" decals were installed on the wrong sides (L to R)...

Thanks man. I remember watching Dana on youtube many times. It was a nice car. Did you ever get a Daytona? I think I remember that you were trying to purchase one and that is why you were selling your 500. The Charger 500 is such a beautiful car. In my opinon, only the Daytona and Superbird as as good looking.

Yeap.. It's the orange one in my avatar profile picture.. I trade straight up Dana and the '68 Hemi Charger R/T project.. Too many Daytonas had slipped through my fingers and I was going to stop that once and for all...... I miss Dana a lot, but love the Daytona even more, albeit it's not a 4speed..

Too bad that your dream car is not a FJ5 Limelight 4 Speed Hemi `Cuda... you would be one trade away from pure joy...  :icon_smile_wink:  In late Spring I plan to try the Troy-Trade™ method to try to replace my large mainly project car collection with a more modest mainly turn-key collection.  It will take me at least 6 months to locate the items that will go with the cars to be offered for trade...

Only about half of my cars will be offered for trade initially, and some like the Triple Black Charger & Platinum Road Runner will never be trade material...

It didn't sell guys. I'm going to hold on to her for a while. I think this was God telling me that I need to enjoy the car more. :scratchchin: Either way, I love my 500 and I will get alot of enjoyment out of driving her. Besides, the fall in AZ is perfect for cruising. :yesnod: Wish I could make the Aero Show. Maybe another year. I have too many bills to pay. I will await the pics and dream about being there.

A lot more!!!... but you can't be serious after the long trek to get the Birdible done...  :icon_smile_question:

But I won't trade a real wing car for it...  I was really tempted with a fair trade offer that I received last week, but could not bring myself to trade away a real wing car without getting a real wing car back in trade...   After the TroyTrade™ effort is completed in a few years, I will probably end up with a single turn-key real wing car, hopefully a Daytona.  I am not particularly attached to either the Superbird or Daytona, so trading them for a turn-key Daytona would work for me.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack Dan...  you are caught in a strong buyer's market, and there is no telling where it is heading.  Enjoy the C500!!!  :yesnod:

Sorry for the thread hi-jack Dan...  you are caught in a strong buyer's market, and there is no telling where it is heading.  Enjoy the C500!!!  :yesnod:
it would be bitter sweet but the only way I would trade it would be to get a bird or daytona .

That is what I thought you would say... well, find me someone with a turn-key real Daytona who will trade for my Hemi `Cuda... then I will have a spare wing car to sell or possibly trade.  :icon_smile_big:  :icon_smile_big:  :icon_smile_big:

sure  what will a birdible get me

A lot more!!!... but you can't be serious after the long trek to get the Birdible done...  :icon_smile_question:

But I won't trade a real wing car for it...  I was really tempted with a fair trade offer that I received last week, but could not bring myself to trade away a real wing car without getting a real wing car back in trade...   After the TroyTrade™ effort is completed in a few years, I will probably end up with a single turn-key real wing car, hopefully a Daytona.  I am not particularly attached to either the Superbird or Daytona, so trading them for a turn-key Daytona would work for me.
