Does anyone know if you can put a 1970 front on a 1973 without modifications?

I'm 99% sure there will be modifications needed :yesnod:

Well one could say ANYTHING could be done, but for one the bodylines dont match?  73 has a rounded, if you will, side, and the 70 has a line down the middle.... Two, I dont really see the overall body lines of the car looking good at ALL?

I think you would NOT be happy with the AMOUNT of work for one and second how the finished product looks.

It's up to you, but 1st- there is absolutely no way it could be done without a TON of modifications, and 2nd- what would make you even contemplate such an abortion?

this stuff has been asked in the past and I think ther is ALREADY couple of theads about.

and like on the other threads will post something that is easier to make... Coronet bumper ( pics below ).

The main reason is because the 70 bumper FLUSH with body, for a while 71/74 Chargers sits BELOW the hood... since Coronets are on same way, maybe will fit better

NO SAYING WON'T NEED MODS, but dimmensions and aspect is closer. Of course will need to work on brackets.

THEN check for grille fitment inside Coronet bumper

Well...anyone who is a metalworking guru can make anything work and look good.  A lot of cutting...banging...sandbagging....heating...etc...will be in order.  A lot of work....but anything can be done if you have the knowledge, the time...and the patience!!! :Twocents:
