What size alternator?

I added two Spal electric fans to my otherwise stock 70 Charger. The electric fans run almost all the time. I live in the desert of Arizona.
Doe's the stock 65 amp alternator put out enough power?  The electric fans pull between 15 -20 amps each.

would be enough if you are not on heavy transit, adding rain and at night, but My advice... laters 70s stock alt will drive enough juice

the stock alt can be wired to produce 80 amps , make sure you use relays to the fans

How ? do you mean the square back kind but with visible center coil stator ?

I know laters70s with center coil stator hidden by case are able to drive around 90 amp in stock form. and I know stator is around 1 or 2 milimeters wider than earliers.

i know the rebuilders can rewind them to put out 80 amps

Only way I think is rewiring the stator wider.
