if it was any larger I'd use it for an avitar.

He said in the add he was going to bring it to our Club's Yearly Open Show to advertise it for sale.  I'll take some pics of it.  I hope to get some measurements off it to reference to make my hood and fender scoop locations.  Rarely see a Bird in the area.  Heck, it's fairly hard to find many Mopars.  Tons of Chevy and Stangs every where you turn though.  I'm thinking of bringing my cooker to the show to sell some bbq.  I cook a pig for the Club's Christmas party so I thought I may try and see if I can make some change for the clone fund at the show.  If I do, maybe I can trade the measurements for some free food to him  ;).  How ya like this porker?  I built it out of mostly 11 gauge stainless.  Cooks with charcoal and wood .

Best I can do

We had a nice show today and as stated the Bird was brought.  Here's a few pics.  It's owned by Rick and he was a easy going guy to talk with.  Was real helpful for me with info. and let me take measurements for my clone build  :2thumbs:.  He has a couple of Birds and had brought another one last year.  I told him about the inquiry here.  The sign in the window had a lower price than the add, but I only noticed it right before he was moving it before he left to head back home so don't quote me on it.  Anyway here's some bigger pics for inquiring minds.

A few more.  I hope he don't mind.

ah, the ol' bonnie and clyde trick with the air cleaner...  when you've got 10 minutes but not $10 for a stupid chrome one

looks like a pretty honest car, though it's been repainted (guess based on missing decals/blue headlight doors)

Poor 'Bird needs rear quarters....bad

hotrod98

That looks like that deep northern type of rust. I'll bet it needs outer wheelhouses and probably a whole lot more.  The matching numbers will help overcome the rust issue...a little.

In this market, I think the car's worth about 50K. Maybe 60K max. I would bet money that a 60K offer would take that baby home.

I can't recall 100% but I thought there was in the 60'sK range on the dash top add when I glanced at it as he was moving it from behind the glass  :shruggy:. If somebody was seriously interested, he's not an uptight individual and seemed like someone that would discuss a good offer ok. He knows his cars though. The car is in the Beaufort SC area and he drove it from there to the show about an 1hr 45mins.

If it was a bucket seat 4-speed car and I hadn't already worked a deal on another car, I would be calling the guy. Trust me.
If he were to advertise it correctly, I think he would sell it within a short period of time.
