I wanted that car 25 years ago when I first saw it.  :2thumbs:  At the time I lived in Eastlake, OH.

It's a bit funny that it is currently in Eastlake after being passed around quite a bit.

My T5 500 has a column shift with no buddy seat. I haven't seen too many column shift 500s without the buddy seat. I really like the white and red color combo too. :2thumbs:

I guess I always thought that performance cars did not have column shifters.  Silly me.  :slap:

Why wouldn't they? The auto was plenty fast and the column shifter weighs less than a console.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I like column shift. Kind of an all business set up.

My Daytona clone is actually gonna be a 4 speed. I did buy a column the othe day but only for the manual steering shaft.

I'm on the fence about my Charger. The column shift is cool and not too often seen in big block/customized Mopars but I'm sorta thinking it might wreck or put a dent in the whole feeling of my car when it's done. We'll see. I will keep the column in the Duster though. Column in the Coronet will be put into storage and a nice 4 or 5spd will be put in :D

On topic though, I remember that C500 was for sale about 2 years back. I love that car, such an awesome colour combo. :2thumbs:

I flew up and looked at this car-very nice imo. Owner bought it for $200,000 and is in some serious $$$ pinch and trying to unload it- he will take less, trust me.

Cooter

Nice car, but never was too much on a '68 Coronet grille in a '69 Chrger....

Car looks sweet. You have to admit that when you pull that column shift down, it would still be as cool as when the seatbelt goes on in the BULLIT> Just a thought.
