On a Lynch Road car, there is a second fender tag with a large H ?   Anyone know what that would be for?

Thanks.  Looks like the 72 might be the next project car in line.  A bodyman is coming Monday to look it over.  He is wanting to start on it next weekend.  Factory 400 car, FY1 yellow but thinking of painting it a different color since original motor and trans are MIA.

ACUDANUT

Too bad we have to look at 73-74 Chargers in there. :eek2: (just a joke for Nacho  :smilielol:)

72's must be the outcasts......I have looked through pages 1-100 and somewhere about 150-the end.  There are very few (by comparison) 72's.

Page 88 is... :drool5:

72's are too cool. Last year of the "good stuff".  :2thumbs:
Not to mention IMO they ruined the body lines in 73's.  :Twocents:

I'm not too sure they "srcewed" up the lines on the 73/74, I think they were the high mark in sales... I guess that makes them number 1

ACUDANUT

 To each his own.
But I thought we we talking about 72's here.  :shruggy:

Does anyone have sales/production numbers for the years 68-74? Just curious.

ACUDANUT

I am getting my new rechromed and fixed bumper (rear)  back this week on my 72. Then I will attempt to post some pic's.

I need help removing the 72 quarter glass area Chrome, and the top of the door Chrome too. Any pic's on how ?? Thanks

ipstrategies

Are you talking about the trim that is top of door and carries back to rear window?
If so I just took mine off a few weeks back.
No pics but here you go.
For Rear Window
1. Remove inside panel roll window all the way down
2. the fuzzy felt part needs folded up and you will see 2-3 screws (one side of mine had to the other 3?)
3. Remove these screws (I had 4 come out no problem 1 I had to drill out (they screw into clips)
4. Pry it up and the whole piece comes out with fuzzys.

I hope this helps, the front (door trim)  I am pb blasting the screws, the front one on outside of door.

The front one you have to remove the window stop so the window drops enough to get to screws.

The bodyman came to look at the car and its headed to the bodyshop this week!!  Being the factory motor and trans are long gone should I keep it the original color combo?   I thought maybe changing to FC7 purple or EV2 Hemi Orange and doing the painted bumpers like a 71??  :shruggy:
