"Try raising the shifter bracket up slightly in the rear. You can use washers that were in the kit or any washer. raise it up about 1/8 inch or a little more. "

Btw, the tip worked! I now have the choice to downshift to 1st!  :2thumbs:

  Tom called me last night and is sending me the other style shifter ? I guess mine was his first try ?  So i am getting up graded .
