it can be done...    ratcheting style shifter mounted inside the console and use a 4-speed top plate...    then attach a stock pistol grip handle to it somehow

it took me awhile to break the gate in . it also took me awhile to get used to it .  You wont have the button on top to release it so you really do need to goto the shifter R gate style . you  pushes the whole shifter down or pull it up to change gears instead of pushing a button .

i used one from a company called shift-r-arm. It looks identical to the one you are asking about/wanting. it was $125 if i remember right and i had him special make the grips in chrome. i know there is a small ad in mopar collector's guide with their info.

I was the test mule for Tom and his reverse pattern shift-r-gate.  I had him make it to my specifications and it works great!  No more missed second gear!  :drive:

I am using it with the stock shifter though

No, He already sent me two handles, because the first one hit the ashtray, so when I got the other one, I got frustrated, and gave up.
I will send him an e-mail and ask him now.

So that's why you've angeled it, I was wondering about that.

I mailed him:
"Try raising the shifter bracket up slightly in the rear. You can use washers that were in the kit or any washer. raise it up about 1/8 inch or a little more. "

I'm gonna try that tomorrow.
