Has anyone ever used a pair of Firm Feel's road race/oval track leaf springs that could offer a review?

FYI, disappointingly the Firm Feel "OE style leaf springs" are just the made in Mexico Mopar Performance XHD springs with the price marked up  :cussing:

Summit Racing has them for $50 cheeper than FFI, or maybe a Dodge dealer would be able to get them.  I too am interested in how the road race springs have worked out for people

I've got a set of Mopar oval track springs that are going in my car this winter. Mine are zero arch. First thing I noticed when they arrived is that they lack a lot of arch in the front segment, but still have a fair amount in the rear segment. They also are made up of four leaves that are 9/16 thick instead of the XHD style springs which are six leaves that are 7/16 thick. Oval track springs are rated at 120# per inch, whereas the XHD springs are most likely 140-150# per inch. However, when doing the old stand on them and measure the deflection trick, my 180 pounds could only get them to move 1 inch, so one they are installed and worked a bit they may loosen up some.

Yep, I'm interested too. I have the S/S springs in mine (since 1982, sagged some) but was thinking that Cal-Tracs and lighter springs with less roll steer might work as good at the track and better for touring/curves.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Something else to consider about mopars oval track springs is that the front segment is shorter than stock, like an SS spring, so they will require a different hanger than stock. I don't know if Firm feel's road race springs are that way or not, but I see the shorter front segmetn as a big advantage with the softer spring rate.
