New tank and new sending unit, actually second sending unit, I broke the ground off the first sending unit. Every time I put it back in I put the first rubber round seal in and then the sending unit then the other rubber then the round clamp and turn it with the tool until it clicks. I let the car down from the lift and raise the back end up and no leaks. I drive the car for an hour and put gas in it and now it pours out. I've done this like 3 times :brickwall:. What a crappy set up!!

If my memory isn't failing, only one rubber seal.None between the lock ring and sending unit.

oldschool

yes only one seal.i would not think a seal would fit between the lock ring and sending unit.

Only one, that's probably a good reason why it's so hard to put on. I'll give it a try with only one.
