while looking  (digging)    for a picture for another thread , found this  , not sure if this has been posted before , but remember seeing colored pictures of this car somewhere    or one like it ! ,  although going by the other picture i'm looking for , i could of drempt it up

Didnt find any info on the salt car .Did however find his partner Diamond Jim Annin mentioned in the article

 intresting  !!  wasn't there another Jim  that  run another wing car  on the salt    can't think of his  name ,  sure it was a superbird now thinking about it

This Daytona never ran on the Salt.  It is sitting in Fresno Ca currently.    This is a 4-speed 4.10 car.  Gilbert Tar drove it to the Talladega Meet in 75 or 6
