Can someone tell me if this is a damper for a cast or forged crank?

Thanks

It's for a forged crank, the center hub has no elliptoid weight.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

This damper shown above came with the 75 440 motor that I bought but it was not on the crankshaft. I was assuming that the motor has a cast crank in it. Can this damper go on a forged crank and it work correctly?

I will go check out the crank again when I get the motor on an engine stand, but I thought for sure the motor had a cast crank in it.

Though I can't find the other location that had actual factory info at it, here's one spot that at least has info and pic's....

Yeah I know, it's 440 Source, but as long as the info is right...

Looks like the balancer that came off my 69 440.  Definitely fits a forged crank.
