Thanks much for posting those. I was trying to decide when I get my done if i want to put the vinyl back on. I like the way it looks both ways. Do many people keep that rear side trim when they dont have a vinyl top?

I do :-) it helps break up the lines, then again, my clone had them in the movie as well ;)

How about white stripes?   :2thumbs:

Those look really good too. I really like the white stripes on black or blue. You almost cant go wrong with black or white on the red.

Here is some information that might help you make your decision. The drip rail moldings are different on a hardtop vs. a vinyl top. They have a wider opening to go over the vinyl top material. The same goes for the molding that wrap around on the quarter panel to the back window. They were specifically made for Chargers equipped with vinyl tops. If you install them without the vinyl top, you will notice a 1/8" gap between the molding and the sail panel. Just something to give some thought to.
My friend has a 70 SuperBee and mopar actually made quarter moldings for vinyl top delete cars. He is the one who brought this to my attention and thus I am putting the vinyl top back on.
Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering about that, but hadnt gotten around to asking yet. I will prob put the vinyl back on. I like the way it looks and that is what it had before. It was my deceased father's car and I think he liked the vinyl as well. However, that non-vinyl look is growing on me!!!
