He was the greatest. And I am a rock n roller, neutral about country, but he was special.  :yesnod:

Hell yea man. I love me some Johnny Cash. I have been a metal fan most of my life and really not gave a crap about country music but I have always really liked his music.

What is it about his music that seems to transcend all music groups. Know kids that only listen to rap that love him. Rock and love him. It's really bizarre...I like his music but I do listen to country on occasion.

I dont know what it is that moves people, but it definitely works.  His cover of Hurt right before his death was very moving.

Yea I like Cash's version of both songs more than the originals... theres just something about the way he sings his songs.

Cash was awesome talent. I like a bunch of his songs but that remake of Hurt he did was something special.
