Help! Holley carb question

I guys,

I recently discovered a crack in the base plate of the Holley carb I purchased on EBay.  Here is the carb I have:

Holley list # 4780, 800 cfm, squarebore, 4 barrel, double pumper carburetor set up for street and strip use. The choke horn has been milled for added airflow and a cleaner signal to the boosters. This carb employs the roller-type 1:2 ratio linkage. It will flow 835 cfm and will support 575+ horsepower. Assembled with high-flow .110" needle & seat assemblies, 30cc pump in front, 50cc out back, # 31 squirters front and rear, -6 AN inlet fittings, and  a vent baffle. The jetting is 72 up front with a 6.5" Hg high-flow power valve, and 84 in the rear with the power valve circuit blocked.

Now, I am looking to purchase a billet base to avoid future cracks.  Will this base plate work?

Base plate assembly for 650 - 800 cfm Holley carburetor. Billet alluminum base plate features - 4 corner idle, 2 full time vacuum ports and 1 ported vacuum source, mechanical secondary (double pumper) and adjustable secondary idle speed screw.

Thanks guys!

Tim

Hey Tim, the billet baseplates are very nice.  :2thumbs:

As for compatibility with your current carb ; the as described plate is designed for a carb that is equipped with 4 corner idle adjustment....so if your carb has the idle mixture screws on the secondary metering block it will work fine.  :yesnod:
