I have about 45k in my car.  I told my wife to either keep it, or offer it first to my older brother for 20,000.00 and if he passes offer it to one of my best friends ( she knows who ) and if he passes another person and if they pass, ebay it for what ever it brings.
What plans have you told your mate/wife?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

My daughter gets it, I can trust her to take care of it  :yesnod:
My son would destroy it in about a week :brickwall: ... Typical 19 year old boy :D We'll build him his own toy to play with.

Probably my daughter, as "She who must be obeyed"  sees only dollar signs. And although she is only 9 years old I have plans for her to take it to her High School Prom. Charger indoctrination started early with her... :yesnod:

If I were to die today My life insurance would be about enough to pay for the rest of the work needed to finish building it. So the wife would probably sell it off and go on vacation.

If mine were finished my wife and girls would probably keep it, although I seriously doubt they'd actually drive it so who knows how long that would last. In it's present state however my wife would probably just sell it for whatever she could get and put the money in a college fund for the girls.

If I die I dont care what happenes to it as Im not around to know. If i made a request for what I wanted to happen with it, I wouldnt know once Im dead if that request got honoured so who cares what happenes. Burned, sold, smashed, lost, stolen, whatever.

So what happenes to the charger if I die?

WHO KNOWS, I SURE WOULDNT!

I had once started to make a carefully inventoried list of all of my automotive and guitar crap so that I could establish values on everything and direct who should get what of the things that meant the most to me.  I was making a good start when I decided that I should involve my little bride in the project.  I called her downstairs and started to explain what I was up to me when she turned to me and said, "Knock yourself out but when you die I'm just having a giant yard sale with a sign that says ALL ITEMS ONE DOLLAR".  She then went back upstairs and I tore up my list and forgot about it.

I hope my wife would sell it for the money.  In fact, sell everything!!!  Why keep my stuff if I'm gone?  I'm really not very sentimental about material objects....except for an extremely well worn stuffed animal that I've kept 41 years -  which will be buried with me.  :icon_smile_wink:

Of course, outside of my home my largest investment is my car.  Anybody can drop in a second, that is way to much invested money to leave people guessing what to do with?  I'm sure I'm not the only one that has ever thought this?  So your answer is?

Well, she ought to at least ask $100 for the Charger. :shruggy:

Depends on when I bite the bullet. Next week the wife would sell it and use money for kids. If I am lucky and old then most likely my son. But if my daughter wants it also they would have to work it out.
