I was digging through old pictures when I came across these.  Those were the days, 26, single and 3 cars ( 1982 ).  A 80 turbo Trans Am Pace Car, my high school 57 nomad, and my first camaro conv, a 69 RS conv with a rare 327, as production stopped I believe in February for the 327 and then the weak 305 came out.   I also had a cool 340 73 Challenger .  Story with that car is I was coming home from work on the 2nd shift on the highway late one night.  I was tired and had my head leaning on the door glass while I zipped along listening to the hum of the 340.  I glanced at my tach and read 5,000 RPM.  5,000 RPM I thought?  I looked at the speedo and I'm doing 105MPH!!  What a cool car. :coolgleamA:
Sorry for the picture of my picture but I don't have a scanner. :icon_smile_big:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Awesome thought!  :2thumbs:  Problem is for me I'm 53, and Logan is 5!  I think the charger is it for me, and that's o.k. :yesnod:

Yeah I was always a late bloomer, but when I bloomed, I really bloomed. look how long it took to get the best of them all, the 69 Charger.  First time I fell in love with the car was 1969, and finally saved the best for last  until buying one in 2007

Thanks for looking.  I was actually digging around for my 70 SuperBee 440/6 4spd car pics.  I still miss that car.

As for rare cars I also had a LS6 454/450hp Chevelle back then.  That thing was stupid fast.  What I did for about a good 10 years was buy Muscle cars as a hobby.  I had a good paying job and I just loved the cars.  My friends would laugh because everytime I got one I'd swear I'll never sell it, but as we know after a few months it's a been there done that feeling.  Next thing I'm thinking after cruising around in my rare RS 69 Camaro Z /28 is ,  OOOh look at that GTO conv!  I want one of those!  and on and on, until the last big buck car I got in Hemmings was a very rare 396/375hp 69 camaro Pace , I still have the restoration video of restoring it.  It was sold when I called for 10,000.00 but I begged the seller for the new owners number, I called him and offered 13,000.00 as is.  I knew they only made about 20 or so of those cars. I bought it with the body shell all restored and painted but just a shell.  It was painted in some super paint at the time, I took it to my friends shop and said strip it down and repaint it the correct Acrylic Lacquer. Last thing I remember is having the car 95% done and about 23,000.00 invested in it and being flat broke and having a girl friend. :P  I listed it in Hemmings for 23,000.00 and it sold.  The guy came to my house with 23,000.00 in 20 and 100 dollar bills and a paper bag and that was that, my Muscle car era was over and this was in the early 90's.  The End.  :'(
