You guys from the first dodgecharger.com , who do you miss around?
Guys that really were fun to reply too, discussing, advising or learn about their project(s), met on a cruise or show, talk Mopar too...

I remember my fellow home boy Doc74 who now lives in the US.
Snakemaster(?) was a guy from Texas, truckdriver if I remember correctly. Those days we were chatting and making fun on the forum's chatbox. Troy 'admin' joint there, and Em, now Doc74s misses.

Good times :yesnod:

Do you miss someone?

I think the subject has been done a couple times before, but i'll let the multiple thread police (Stratocharger) chime in with results.

I miss the Charger Bill and TK threads...

LaTerra's husband Captain Mopar.

ChargerBill & whoever he decided to get in a pissin' match with.

I seen TK (Chris) up at Sunbust but he kept walking.

8WHEELER is still around.  I think he's avoiding the forum.  His health hasn't been real good this year unfortunately.  His wife's gold car is done now and they're showing it.

I may have lost part of my memory but there's still things I remember.  Like when Chris G. just bought his '70.  IIRC, he & JUST '69 formed their friendship from the old forum?

JUST 69 turned me onto the old forum when I was @ moparts.  I remember having a digital camera with barely 1 megapixel.  I was the shit back then being able to post pictures on the internet.  Digital cameras were fairly new.  I think I paid over $500 for mine back then.

SuBLime69 (was a cop IIRC)
Chargerfreak (parents owned a large nursery)
Bob Jenner  ;)
Nyjak
Danny Gutierrez (moved west & was getting divorced LIR)
493rt (Jim's a Bow Tie man now)
Who could forget cudaken?  The old decoder ring came in handy trying to decipher his posts.  :D
AllBlueRT & stratocharger (now those guys' were cool)  :2thumbs:

As far was female members I miss Jen, dart340\4. Met her several times, she hosted a Mopar party at her house a couple of times. She and her hubby were both Mopar people. I know he was having some serious issues with his back and the house fire several years ago wasn't pretty.

I remember the off topic section on the old board before they banned politics  I use to love the go rounds HemiDoug and TK73 use to have :boxing_smiley: :boxing_smiley: :boxing_smiley:

Last time I talked to them it was under way. However, it's not the DC.com car as they refunded any donations (not much) and are restoring it on their own. Probably a good thing they waited as there's a lot more sheet metal available now than there was when they got the car.

Shelley's last post on 8/7/07. Seems to me that she is offering to return any funds.
IIRC Travis told her and Jonathan to keep the project car that he donated.

"I will be happy to update.  We have offered back ALL of the 150.00 that we were given toward fixing this car.  I believe it is even on the last post asking about the update, I need those paypal addresses and have yet to receive them.  I will be MORE than happy to send the money to Troy.  We stopped visiting he site mostly because we found that we really enjoyed the few people we had become friends with here but that the site seemed to be taken over by the OTHER people that just lived to beat up on and make fun of everyone else.  It was no longer about being supportive of Charger owners or get togethers it was about rumors or bashing how stupid someone was.  I also had gotten to the point where I couldn't open half the posts in front of my son because of the language.
We really enjoyed the few people and you know who you are, we met several of you in person and as we are bashed here and I know we will be I hope that you will be the ones to come to our defense.
The others that gave money...again...please send your paypal address to me at shelleyhight@comcast.net, I have the names and amounts written down in a book, but not the e-mail and paypal addresses."

He got pissed over a fight he had with a few people on here and left. He still posts on the A body site and I talk to him on Facebook.

Another member I really miss is Twilt. A true 3rd gen guru. He now hangs out at the 3rd gen board. Don't know why he doesn't post anymore. Was always very helpful.

LaTerra's husband Captain Mopar.

ChargerBill & whoever he decided to get in a pissin' match with.  How's the blue beast treatin' ya?

Hey there!!

Yeah i read that, but the nursery is not right.. We have a tractor company here. We work with flower bulbs here..
But anyways very cool to remember about back then. How are you doing??

I found this thread right after PM'ing CP about what has happened to (Cuda)Ken. I used to get along pretty good with him back then, he even tried finding me a car, came up with a red '68. Gave me a radio for my Charger later on.  Tried e-mailig him 2 or 3 times last 2 years or so, but never got answered..

But my memory is pretty bad. Forgot a lot about all what happened. Also remember a guy with his red/purple "69 Charger, wasn't his name Ross? Of course remember you though. It was nice back the with the smaller group, ye knew eachother and a little while reading everyday kept you completely updated about all that happened on the site.
Not that i don't like it know but i only read most of the time, though been away a few years..

And what happened with Jesse, read something about t-shirts.. XS29J8 is still around right?

Chris.

Chargerfreak

By the way didn't u make me a avatar back then? I think so..

Chris.

Yep I know he sold it...    Chris Jacobs ended up having it soon after (dont know if he purchased it from Ross or someone in between them) but it was an awesome car - Chris brought it by the old shop twice and I got to tune and tinker a bit on it...        Chris then sold it to but a 68 GTX that I later built the engine for as we all perform some suspension mods.
