Hello hopefully somebody will be able to shed some light on this. i have a 73 charger with a 318/ 904 i just put the engine and transmission back in and am in the process of hooking everything back up. my problem is that the car will crank but it will not turn over, and the plugs are not getting any spark. I've alredy checked the wires and they are in the right order. everything thast needs to be hooked up is but im still not getting spark or fuel can anyone offer any advice?

There are a few things that could be going on but first I'd see if there is spark at the cap. Pull the coil wire out of the distributor and hold the end near a metal surface (no fuel or oil areas) with a pair of insulated pliers and crank the engine. If a spark arcs trouble may be the cap or rotor.  As for the fuel problem, pull the line off the filter from the pump end, put a longer piece of fuel line on it and run it to a catch can and crank the engine. If you get gas then the problem most likely is a clogged filter. Was this a running car before you did the work? If not it could be a number of other things.

we tried to get it to spark on two different coils and no spark but we're getting fuel now

I'd check the wiring to the coil and see if it is getting juice. If not maybe a wire got incorrectly connected or there is a break somewhere along the line.
