Need to find a Distributor drive gear and shaft for a '71 383 2 bbl

i am rebuilding a 1971 383 2 bbl engine, and cannot seem to find a replacement drive gear and shaft without buying a brand new performance distributor. Does anyone know where i might be able to locate these parts? I tried dodge dealerships, autozone, advance auto parts and other chain stores. Have hit a dead end and these are the only parts i need to get the motor running.

You can buy a brand new, complete Distributor from O'reillys for 70 bucks.  I also have one for you for 35.00. Do you have Electronic Ignition or points ?  I have one of each.

Too bad I'm in Iraq. I have a distributor out of a '71 383 2bbl in my garage in MD you could have for the cost of postage. I won't be home again until November though.

I just learned fellow members......he also needs the oil pump (drive gear) shaft as well......

Mancini has the intermediate shaft in either HP or standard replacement.

I just got a new oil pump drive shaft/gear for a customer and it was like $55-$60.  I have some I would sell for 1/2 that. pm if interested
