A restored 1968 440 Charger for $21,500???

Is this right?  I figured a restored 2nd gen Charger with a 440 would be much higher.

Restored my @$$. I've seen that thing for sale more than once. IMO it's been butchered so yea, I could see it being priced at $21k.

The word "restored" looks to be used very loosely in describing that car

For a car restored " front to back "  The grille needs to be redone.

on 1 of their feedbacks the customer said they lied about vehicle condition, their response was that they just go by the owners description................ if your putting your name oon it to sell it, you should know what your looking at

You need to learn much more about its street-ability before you travel for a test ride, i.e. it may have a radical cam or gear ratio or lousy suspension that makes it rough to drive anywhere (unless you just want to race).

By the VIN number it's a 318 - not an R/T or 440 originally. That color was not available in 68 nor were the pipes exiting in front of the rear wheels, the huge fuel pump hanging out the back, the kill switch in the tail panel, the fuel cell, the wheel tubs, the roll cage, the racing seats, the yellow engine and all the stuff bolted to it, or the extra gauges. I especially like the painted master cylinder, incorrectly painted hood hinges, and green/black interior. No, it's not restored - it's a street/strip race car that's probably overpriced for the work that's been done. Most race cars don't look all that nice up close and pictures can certainly hide that.

Just looking at the Ebay feedback alone I would stay away. I have seen some cars that look perfect in pics and are 25 footers at best in person. If someone took the time to do a nice paint job, why would they paint over the master cylinder and brake lines?

i saw that the company was in vegas and thought i would go look at it, but then i noticed the car is in WI, they should have a BIG disclaimer stating up front they have no idea on the condition of the car, kinda like the porno sites have making sure your 18....................... or so i've heard.......................

looks like a very narrowed rear in that one...I'd bet at one point when it was a racecar it had huge wheels/slicks on it.  looks like the "street" tires/wheels don't even come close to the wheel lips....

plus all of the other visibly shoddy work on that one....run forest run.

I agree with the others, stay away from that one. It's not original, it's a modded up race charger.

 For somebody looking for a street / strip car...  it's not bad if screaming yellow suits your fancy.    Cant' say what's underneath the paint tho.

Doesn't appear to be "restored" to me....dash is rough  as well as other interior parts....engine bay could have been done nicer....and yes...the grille......Looks to me like it has a paint job....about it....I wouldn't classify this car as restored.....And I think 21K is a bit high....
