Interesting vehicles I've seen lately...

First is a trike made from a Volkswagen. It's an automatic which is weird but, what drew me to the thing was the umbrella and trailer. The trailer is made from a 1953(?) Dodgem bumper car.



Next is an old Chrysler but I have no other details.


This little street rod looked weird and on further inspection it's a Triumph Spitfire!

Some of you know I love these little RX-7s but this one has a surprise!

I was gonna say check out the grill on that Chrysler but then I got to the hauler - which is just a scary looking monster of a vehicle. Imagine seeing that thing coming up behind you as you drive along...

Interesting. Apparently it's a one-off creation designed to look like a factory built car (based in Indiana which is close to me). I Googled some more:

that's a pretty cool site i really like the '67 poncho converted to a GTO wagon and the '74 SS 454 Wagon which came from the factory,.. I wish the photo resolution was better...

I rode in one once across a lake.  The water comes close to the top of the door.  Kinda like riding in a bath tub but with the water on the outside.

Those little boat cars were cool. Theres one over in Wichita and they had it out on the river one time and the next thing they know theres cops and fire rescue out there. Someone had called 911 and reported a car in the river. HAHA!

Love the sticker in the rear view mirror! Description of the car being like a bathtub is great! Now I don't think I would ride in one...one little wave and down...eh I swim. I love the wagon with the swivel seats...we were just talking about them Saturday.

I've been going to a lot of cruises this year and I always take a camera. Unfortunately, some of the really cool cars have been around after it's too dark to get a good picture. Oh, all of those cars weren't at the same place at the same time. I have a few more pictures of the Amphicar somewhere. The black Corvette is a supercharged Lingenfelter edition. I only had one picture of that red/white convertible but I have no idea what it is.

The RX7 is a cool mod, wonder how it handles. The heavy V8 must be a very big change from the 1.3 (don't quote me on this) wankel engine. But a lot of effort went in there for sure.

I had one before. A standard small block Chevy isn't much heavier than a Wankel rotary (those things are boat anchors!). The LS1 is aluminum or at least has aluminum heads right? Routing the exhaust is probably the most difficult part - depending on how you mount the engine.

They wouldn't happen to make an American engine for a xj6 Jaguar would they? Just bolt in and go...get away from the insanity of that wiring harness...along with different trans? It's just a thought. Actually selling the Jag...great roller, all bells and whistles worked.
