I want to shave my 318 heads down to a smaller combustion chamber to boost the compression a little bit. How much is it? and how far should i shave them?? :shruggy:

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Most shops call it mill the heads. FWIW It depends if any was milled before. Think .020 is the most you can take off before you need to take some off the intake. I wouldnt go crazy as if you rebuild it later piston selection may be limited. Short of using custom ones.

They make a thinner head gasket too...which would help you achieve more compression
