Vinyl Top 500?

There a 69 500 tucked away in a pole building around here. It is factory orange, 440, auto with a black interior. It has clearly had a vinyl top on it evidenced by trim clips that are on the body where the lower trim would be. I was under the impression that this was not available on the 69 500. Perhaps it is custom or a dealer ad?

Thanks for the links. It took me awhile to read all that. This car does not seems to be any of the known 3 with vinyl tops, so perhaps there were 4. I didnt get any photos but I'm definitely going to have my camera next time I pass that way.

I think the last time we counted there were 6 or 7 vinyl top C500's.
