i didn't see a link for next year, i know that the Painters lost their dealership in St. George so i don't know if they have the backing to pull it off next year

thats what i heard 2. dang i sure hope they have it this yr ive been waiting 5 yrs 2 get my charger on the road and drive it in the cruise from kingman AZ to vegas

i would email Rob Wolfe from Mopar Collectors Guide, he usually does one of the convoy legs and is in tight with the Painters

after 4 years in a row going to this event (from europe) i have to skip the next 2 becourse my son of 3 years old got leukimia high risk (blood cancer)  and the treatment takes 2 intensieve years... but when he gets better ill take him to the Strip in Vegas and he can party whole night, drink beer, drive mopar, shoot guns or whatever he likes to do in Vegas.. i dont care.. as long he's there

thanks man.. he got 2 weeks after i came back from Mopars at the Strip 2009  but he will come with me in 2012

I called the number for JP Motorsports and she said they are planning on having it in 2010. The date is not set yet but she said probably March 26, 2010. The last weekend in March. She also said they are still discussing it with the Speedway since there are suppose to be some kind of construction going on at the Strip. I hope she is not blowing smoke up my azz. Lets see what happens. She also said to call back at the end of the month for more news. Last year at this time they had the date set already.

Phil mentioned the strip @ the LV Speedway will possibly be under construction at that time. 4 lane dragstrip as per their original plans??

It is going to be held on March 19-21,2010. I am glad to see that they are going to have it next year.

Well, the dates have been changed to March 26-28. I called the Cannery Casino(host hotel) and they said they have to notify everyone of the date change.

Well that is great news - with my current pace - I might actually be able to drive my Charger out there...    I have never been to MATS but figure this will be my last chance for a couple years...     If the Charger doesnt make it the Sattelite should make it with no problem...      Looking forward to it

I was able to change my room reservations without a problem.

When I told my wife the date had changed she was hoping it was after April 15th so she could go to.
