Edelbrock electric choke where to hook up the wires ?

Where do you hook up the wires, I always had a manual choke, I was talked into this one. Its for a 69 R/T 440.

The coil isn't battery voltage, poor choice.

You want to hook the power wire to keyed battery voltage, the double blue wire on the ballast resistor is the best place or the blue wire on the voltage regulator. The ground can be attached to a cover screw.

Thanks it was a stupid question to think of hooking it up to the coil.

Nope I tried some not so good places before being set straight. John's got the answers!

With no factory provision and it being a constant draw I used a control relay that taps ALT. output wire to feed choke. (Turned on by ignition wire.)
