Do I need 3 inch studs to run draglites?

My car will only see the strip on regular tires. I plan on running 3.5 backspacing with 15 x 7 and 15 x 8. I like the deeper look this gives. So is what I read pertain to drag rules or do they have a THICK center section?

They are drag rules due to safety reasons.

Thats what I thought. But the rims will fit with stock length studs?

If it is an NHRA or IHRA track you will have to use the long studs.

I have never in stalled a set so I cannot say for sure. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer.

They work with stock length studs...    remember current wheels use a nut that mounts on the OUTSIDE of the wheel...   the draglites use a larger hold with washer and shank style lug nut - so the threaded part of the lug threads sometimes down the thickness of the wheel    :2thumbs:
