We're finishing up the grill for our 68 Charger but am missing 3 of the 4 push nut retainers that keep the doors on the studs the doors pivot on. Anyone got a sources for these push nut retainers.

Thanks, RHM,Jr.

Go to Autozone or any part store and look in the HELP! section.... you know got all the special fasteners, window handles, fittings, etc. You can get a pack with assorted sizes, thats where I got mine.

Thanks Jason! I've been to NAPA and O'Reilly's but not Auto Zone. Will make a stop there tomorrow.

Try Ace Hardware in the plastic containers that is where I got mine.

We don't have an Ace Hardware in our small berg. If Auto Zone is a bust I try some surronding towns and look in both stores.

Push nut retainers???  Got a pic?  I'd like to know what they are.  Really.   :shruggy:

This push nut retainer fits a 1/4 inch stud. The center hole is approximately 3/16 inch. From edge to edge it measures 7/16 inch.

Good call on AutoZone! Found them where you said they would be. They are manufactured by Dorman, Part # 13411 and as you said they are part of their "Help" parts line. Web site is: www.dormanproducts.com

Thanks!
