Whats messed up?

Are you are looking at the gap where the drip rail ends and the chrome continue around?
There was another thread on here about that and people said that is how it is supose to be.

Good idea to not put a vinyl roof on, it looks better without a vinyl top, plus you don't have to deal with the rust issues.  :Twocents:

six-tee-nine

I've been thinking about this since I read the last topic about this subject....

I'm seriously thinking about painting the back of the trim in body color to somewhat get this issue camouflaged.....or would it be over the top doing that?

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

lexxman

I'll have too read that as well ,but the car looks fine to me . :yesnod:

I wanna know whats up with all the black and white pictures?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Well he hasn't landed in OZ yet.........

Back N Black

Yep! that's one of a few things that piss me off about these cars. I can't imagine buying a Daytona for big bucks and still having to deal with that crap.  :shruggy:

I didn't care for the metal look on mine either. I ended up putting a strip of flat black vinyl decale in the flat exposed surface before I installed it just to draw less attention to it.
