Yeah, it's weird seeing that stuff.

Early stuff like this makes me wonder how much better the show could have been if the producers/studio hadn't always treated it like such a red-headed stepchild.

People always remark about how such a flimsy storyline & cheap production lasted for 7 years.  But you could turn that around and ask, "How good must the basics have been, to withstand year after year of having nothing to work with?"

That's excellent, I've never seen that before. Thanks!

Wow that was cool.   ;D  It kinda had the look and feel of a soap opera though.  Kinda like, Days of Our Lives in Hazzard County or One Duke Life to Live....   :icon_smile_cool:

Yeah, weird seeing them like that.  Different shirts, cheap props all around them, etc.  (Maybe we just can't get our minds around seeing Bo & Luke without any kind of automobile anywhere in the frame?)

The fact that this test footage was shot on video is a subtle step towards the soap-opera look.  Video is bright colors and 30 interlaced frames.  It really looks different from the less saturated colors & 24 progressive frames that you get with film.  (The whole TV series was all done on film.)
