Hey Guys -

Has anyone ever heard of using marine antifreeze/coolant in a car before? I spoke to someone who said it was usable and or that you could use a marine additive that would help keep engine temps. down.

Anyone know any truth to this?

thanks - Mike

Almost all boats use the water they run in to cool their engines. The marine antifreeze seems to be just what is used to winterize boats so I don't know how well it would work in a car.

Actually no... thank goodness. A buddy of mine had asked me about this so I said I'd ask the list.
