what would a 72 charger se with a 400 2bbl with a 8 1/4 rearend. what gear ratio would it have
72 charger SE 440 big block  
mopar or no car!!!!

my guess would be 2.76 or 3.23 :shruggy:

Our '71 383 2 barrel came from the factory with an 8.25 inch rear end with a 2.45 gear.  Good car for highway cruising.

Do you have the fender tag or is the tag with the gear ratio still on the rear end?
Both my 318/72's had a 8 1/4 with the 2.71 gears.

Our car has a numbers matching drivetrain, and the 2.45 tag is still attached to the rear end.
