My dad caught it when he was about 30 or so, he got it from me....he came through it all right, but I do remember him being out of commission for several days.

Not to raise alarm to anyone,  but some of my family are in the medical field and they once said that an adult contracting chickenpox could lead to serious issues!!!!  You may want to inquire about it. :yesnod:

Yeah, the older you are when you get them, the more health problems they actually present.

i got screwed and had chicken pox twice haha
life's a garden, dig it.

Make sure it's not shingles - activated by the same virus that gives you chicken pox the first time.

My brother in law got shingles on his face and pretty much ignored it - not knowing what it was and ignoring his wife, a nurse - and ended up losing his eye becuse the virus followed a nerve right up the side of his face and into the eye.

Now, when his wife tells him to keep an eye out for someone, he does exactly that: pops it out and puts it on the window ledge.  :eek2:

"Liberalism is a disease that attacks one's ability to understand logic. Extreme manifestations include the willingness to continue down a path of self destruction, based solely on a delusional belief in a failed ideology."

Yep. To be honest, that's his own joke.
He had to get a glass eye after losing the real one. So, yeah, he can pop it out.
He was even going around without one for a while.

NOOOOO! Worst time to get it! One of my boys just got them a few months ago. Gramma and I had to yell at him to go to the doctor NOW! It can do serious damage in your late 20's! He's all good now.
