Any members of this board who witnessed an actual Trans Am race in 1970?

I don't why, I guess I'm just being nosy and nostalgic at the same time.  I had an AAR once and have always had a soft spot for Chryselrs TA cars and like many others think of the 1970 season as the pinnacle of Trans Am racing.
So... anyone and any good tales to share from the race if you did?

Nope, but I did sit in Sam Posey's ex Lime-green Trans-Am challenger a few years ago, and talked with the current owner for awhile.
The doors on that car were SO light...

He placed 3rd in the vintage T/A race that day, behind a 73 AMX and a 68 Camaro.  At Seattle Int'l Raceway in Kent , WA - where they did race originally...
