Who sells this and what is it called and part number? I cant find any info on it.

that is a condensor... As far I know Is a Radio noise supressor... However some ppl added an extra condensor to coil for that function. I allways though at first it was a condensor to some power peaks suppression and protect even more the cluster but somebody told long time ago about the radio noise function.

I think you can live without that. I have seen clusters from factory without that ( I know from factory because where is the attaching screw is non threated )

no, never have seen them.

Once I got one because seller stated it was for that, but when I got in hands... is definitelly not, it was for points distributors.

If I know somebody selling them I'll let you know.

Rockauto has one supression noise condenser under Standard PN RC11, but dunno if is the one what mounts at coil or the cluster one. But clsuter unit changes between rally and standart cluster ( just cause the male or female terminal and slightly diff bracket )

since your VR is a electronic one you don't really need it as there is no open/close of the points in it!!!
