Hi, my 70 charger left turn signal on the hood and dash indicator flicker with the headlights on. When I activate the signal column lever it works  normally.... flasher, loose connection...or...thanks!

Bad ground somewhere on the turn signals is my guess .And its coming back through the headlight circuit.Trying to ground

thanks, I'll take the signals out, scuff everything up a bit and look for any suspect wires

well I've done all I can troubleshooting wise, cleaned and tightened all connections, looked for exposed wires maybe touching metal, etx...nothing obvious from what I can get to...will an auto electric shop be the next logical step? thanks

Thats your choice .Id prefer to find the trouble. And be resourcefull .As more of these problems can arise and you can save money doing it yourself

I had the same prob on my 73. Turned out to be the front turn signal bulb was corroded. Cleaned it up and problem went away. Double check all the wiring and bulbs.
