Black

You know what they say...."once you go black....you never go back"!   :D

Jason

I know that saying....and thankfully, I already went black, and my car has white this time!  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

Here are the pics of it loaded and whatnot......Kinda hard to watch it go.  :-\
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .

Darn it Brian, I have that same exact trailer. Maybe I could load my 68 into the trailer and take some pics of me unloading it here. Maybe I should sell my 68 Charger R/T clone and build a Daytona clone....nope, not gonna happen. I only have 157 miles on my 68 and definately want to put a whole lot more on it. But I've alway said since I was 16 years old that this Mopar obsession would end with a 69 Daytona...I'm sure your Daytona will be over the top.

OOWWW! I know that hurt. Once you start your new baby it won't hurt so bad. Should look amazing...white, red, with black interior. Image that comes to mind is the interior will be like a shadow...makes the car look..."deeper".
Trust your Woobie!

At least you still have the 1hot68 license plates to hang on the wall in the office for a momento.   :2thumbs:

Hey I'm one that understands.  I have always said I would never sell my 70 plum crazy RT, well bottom line is I don't drive it and I'm building my cruiser now that I will have a ton of fun in.  With this decision, you'll have the money you need to build the car how you want without wondering how your going to get $2,500 for a rear end, $6,000 for an engine, on and on and on....... Keep us informed on the Daytona! :2thumbs:

Everything goes round and round. I got mine back and perhaps when the Daytona is done and bills are paid yours will come back too. Pf course, by then you may be onto a new project after selling the Daytona, perhaps a non clone!

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

I just had to chime in and say... wow. Good going. That is a GREAT restoration, and whilst I can't imagine letting it go, I'm sure you know what you're doing!  :2thumbs:

By the way, thanks also for me now knowing EXACTLY how I want my car to look when I finally buy one, that red interior with the black paint job...  :drool5:

You see Brian, after looking at close clear pictures of your car, this is why I say my car is a nice driver.  That thing is mint mint.  :2thumbs:
You thought it would end there,  and there it is on the net. That was fast.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
