I'll be working at Lambeau field during the Viking/Packer game in one of the beer stands and all I can say is there will be lots of alcohol consumed from both sides.  BTW GO PACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purple440

woohoo!!  lol I can't wait for this season.  As a Viqueens fan, this should be good.

PocketThunder

God i hope the Vikes win the superbowl, then the only way they could ever do it is with a Packer player..

GO  PACK!

Yes i live in MN but i was born and raised in WI.  I work across the street from the Vikings Winter Park, the news choppers and all the fans were flocking to the place around lunch time today.  We were gonna start selling parking spots from our lot.

Former packer player  ;)  Ever is a long time, but this time maybe with a FORMER packer.  Next time with another, doesn't matter.

nh_mopar_fan

As an ex-Viking fan, there's no way this team goes anywhere especially with the over hill the geezer at QB.

Jesus, how bad can Tavaris Jackson be?????

PocketThunder

Oh thats right, FORMER Packer player, Farve and Longwell on the next Wheaties Box!   :yesnod:   ;D

As a diehard Viking fan it is going to take a long time to get comfortable with this move.  It is hard to like someone I am used to hating.  I felt the same way about Longwell and Sharper to.  As I said yesterday, this smells worse than a car full of cheeseheads leaving a bean factory tour.  :eek2: No offence Pocket.  :nana:

I can look out my bosses office window here on the 4th floor at work and watch Bret practice right now.  All the media trucks are out front the thier satellite dishes pointing at the sky.  Its gonna be rain today though so they will probably go inside.

I'm not real upset that he signed with the Vikes, but all my friends and family that still live in Wisconsin are having a tough time.  there is even a website set up already for mourning Packer fans.  www.mourn4.com   Get your arm band today!

The feeling around my neck of the woods right now is Favre who?  Our quarterback is Aaron Rodgers

The70RT

I wonder who is gonna push his wheel chair around  :shruggy: His last few years his long ball sucked. When pressured he just throws it up for grabs.....hope he has some good receivers.

I just see it as a big business.  Our millionaires (not from here) against their millionaires (not from there).  Slightly less boring than baseball.

There is already talk that this will help give incentive for us good Minnesota taxpayers to buy them a new Vikings stadium.

We are still paying for the new baseball park for one of the richest families in the state.  The twins don't play there yet.  Another sales tax increase to fund rich men in suits.

The way I see it..... The 2 games against the vikings should mean at least 6 to 10 interceptions per game for the Packers  :nana:

i really dont know if he will be a great addition (from a impact on the field perspective) or not, but i do remember joe montana coming to the chiefs after the 49'ers and he did a wonderful job for them, so.. who knows?
