Not saying Joe is a bad guy, and I have nothing agaisnt hunting or ridding yourself of varmits. I do find it a bit unnecessary to use the excessive amount of force he used, and I also see no need to put in on video. I certainly don't think I'm better, just MHO. No offense intended.

so i should use the humane live traps that everyone else uses? you know, the ones that leave the groundhog sitting out in the sun in a small cage all day while i am at work, dehydrating and starving them? oh yeah, i tried that once, and will never use one again for that reason, they suffer all day and by the time i got home from work the hog was about dead anyway, then to top it off i still have to shoot the thing.

or maybe i should hire the exterminator that pumps propane down the hole and then sets it off removing all air from the hole suffocating the hog to death. yup, thats much more humane then shooting them,

so what if i unloaded a magizine down the hole, i made sure the hog was dead and did not leave it to suffer wounded, perhaps 14 rounds was more then needed but the hog was definatly dead.  i could have been like all the other people that just let them run around wounded until they die or get eaten by another animal but i make sure the animals are dead.

search youtube and watch how many videos there are of wounded hogs crawling across the field or the ones that are stiff with the tails up in the air in pain till they die. when i shoot a hog it is dead on the spot and if for some reason the first shot didnt kill it the second shot finishes it up immediatly.

I used to use sulfer and a propane torch to deal with gophers and a scissor trap to deal with moles. Ground squirrels get the the old .22 whenever I get back to where I grew up. BTW, are you sure you're a bona fide rancher? I've never seen a "real" rancher use a large caliber hand gun to take out varmints. That's a job for the Ruger 10-22.

i like big guns, i actually dont own a 10/22, but i have a savage semi auto 22, the hogs up here laugh at it. the .308 reaches out at crazy distances and has a near 100% 1st shot kill ratio.

Theres already a sight called youporn and its free, so ive ben told  . Good video, reminds me of caddyshack. Ive got a big problem here with moles that I cant seem to get rid of. Grub killer isnt doing a thing. Im going to try smoking them out next.

When you have livestock....and it starts costing big cash....especially the cash that funds a Charger restoration......then you'll take whatever means necessary to eradicate the problem.  I see nothing wrong with it, and I certainly see no problem having a little fun while doing it.   And as far as the criticism of taping it and submitting it on YouTube....well.....browse through that site for a while....you'll see much worse things....hell   I think there's YouTube videos of people taking a s**t!!!   Now that's something to complain about!!
