Congrats on the find of a lifetime.  Certainly will bring back a lot of memories.  Thanks for sharing this inspiring story. Be nice if I could find my old Datsun 280ZX turbo 5 spd, although after I restored it back in 1994, it started rusting away again the following year.  Probably scrapped by now.

Thanks to Chris' registry I found a pic of a non vinyl T-5 black stripe RT.   Them dogdishes do nothin for me but the rest I really like.

My Green R/T is called Roxanne. Because in 1983 it was, "cheap and fast".

Thanks man!!!!!!

Those slots will have to go somewhere but it won't be for free.   And I have to correct earlier statement that they were 15's (unless they got changed out which is unlikely).    They're 14's.   But somebody put on a new set of L60-14 rear and G60-14 fronts  on them somewhere in time.

Gonna investigate my options but it's a toss between  cragars, 500's and repro recall wheels.

I would have to travel back home to Maui to find my old Challenger...my first car. Great story enjoy and yeah certain Mopars sell for amazing money. Our friend restored a 500 that has a story, Blue Angel car, now owned by a man who owns a winery in CA. The car is appraised for just under $400k. It was really amazing to see the responses to the car at Garlits. A self proclamed Mopar Expert..."they call me Mr. Mopar" said that this that and the other were incorrect blah, blah, blah! Of course the man standing next to him, knew the original owner, flew with him, and just looked at the guy and smiled. What can you say to one who knows ALL. The car is dang near original and flawless.
Trust your Woobie!

hehe it's cool, but I have a set of 14's. I was hoping they where 15's. If you find a set, let me know ;) Actually I just need 2.

I sold a Charger to a guy in PA with a Z for sale. Not sure if it was a turbo, though.

Thanks but I don't think I would ever own another recycled metal piece of $hit.
