Hello guys, last weekend, happened our biggest Mopar only car show and cruise, it had lots of cars in a sunny and warm day, full of beer and Mopars, this year's event was our biggest yet with over 200 cars doing the cruise, unfortunately my car wasn't ready for the meet yet, but nonetheless we had a blast, enough with the talk, I'll post some pics.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

It is great to see another part of the world enjoying their cars . But again hoods are all closed?? :shruggy: Its like going to wall mart :rotz: Is it just an American thing (or area) :shruggy: to show the detailing / engineering under the hood? Pics were great thanks for sharing! :cheers:

Armudster: are these all gasoline based engines, or bio-fuels? In other words, how prevelant are the alternative fuels? How much adapting needs to be done to the motors?

Also, it looks like a great turn-out. How far do owners drive to attend? Do they trailer cars in?

Enjoyed the pictures even more the second time through. :icon_smile_cool:

Actually it was just a bad timing thing, lol but a few friends took some pics of hoods open, but not all cars did open them, I'll pick some more pics and will post here :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Hello, the great majority run on gasoline, but the carbs need to be adjusted because we have a higher amount of alcohol on our gas, one popular mod is to convert to ethanol, but our version of it is based on sugar cane instead of corn, but not many cars do this because altough it is cheaper, it has worse mileage, tipica;;y when you do this conversion you have to niquel plate the carbs, and raise the compression, this conversion is popular on Drag Racing since it allow you to turn higher compression ratio, without doing a full out racing machine and using race gas or methanol!!!!! In regular street muscle cars it almost isn't used, and the majority of american Mopars we have here are bone stock, even that cool Barracuda have a mild 340 in it! Among Mopar owners from down here almost 80% goes to events driving their own cars, and this is greatly encouraged around here, they even give prizes in Mopar shows for whom drive from greatest distances, this year was a tie between two car clubs, one came from Brazilia with 6 cars and other from Espirito Santo with 4, it's something like 900 to 960 Miles of distance under their own power, and this year there was a guy that worried about not finishing his car in time, just primered it and ran 300 miles without seat covers, door panels, bumpers and other "unnecessary things", lol. :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
