I just got a set of silicone valvecover gaskets from E-Bay. So should I use gasket sealer, in the past I have always used Ultra Blue? :shruggy:

which gaskets? are they the steel reinforced ones? if they are the nice pricey ones then i wouldnt use anything on them

They are the orange silicone with no steel reinforcement.

I've got them also, haven't installed them yet but I was going to put them on dry. Nice, I got mine from E booger on eBay.

i had the orange gaskets, they were ok but still leaked once oil got to them. the oil breaks them down and they become very flimsy
