QuoteAlbequerque, which although it has some pretty cool scenery, is a shithole to be stuck in when you're waiting for a load for your truck to be honest.

Been there a few times.  My friend lived there for years.  Had some fun but I wouldn't wanna stay long.

One time I told my cousin I was going to Albequerque in a few days.  She immediately blurts out, "On purpose?"

you could spend a week in Texas and not see it all. It is a huge state and ranges from desert to pine forest. I'd suggest looking up the State parks of Texas and you will find tons of great places to see.

What about Texas or Tennessee? A friend of mine said that people do live like the old days there NOW or is that wrong?

LOL....no...that isn't true...but we have South Padre Island down here if you are in to some serious partying!!!  About 5 minutes from my house even!!!  It all depends on what type of vacation you are looking for really.

Actually Albuquerque is one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S. It's a mixture of high desert, and tall mountains. The city itself is a wild mixture of "modern" freeways and shopping malls with lots of old Mexican architecture. I live in Louisiana now but every time I visit Albuquerque I always bring a friend.  Every single person I have introduced to Albuquerque has loved it!!
