Hey Werner,

I've seen several glove box mounted radio/CD players and all of them had mounts custom made by the installer because every app is different. Check around at your local auto sound installers/fabricators and ask about their methods. I can tell you from personal experience you'll probably end up buying a new glove box. In the process of removing my heater box for restoration my the glove box had to come out. It crumbled in my hands. R/T Specialties has new ones for $20. Good luck.

I just got a new glove box, cut the corner to let the back lay flat, put the wired radio in on a heatproof mat and set it in, let the tunes play.  It is in there nice a snug. Get a wired remote as the wireless does not work through the glovebox door. MPJ

I used a universal under dash mount sold by Crutchfield

Mounted it upside down & angled in the glove box....trimming to fit

ran my wired remote into the console....
