I bumped into the car at the Iola WI swap last month.   It was on Ebay several months back and changed hands at that time and is for sale again by the current dealer.  It is neither a great car, or a bad car.   Quarters have been replaced as they have that fat lip around the wheelwells.   You could use the car without regrets and improve some things as you go along.   It's an entry level driver grade Bird.

Looks to me like the sissor jack mounting screw was welded in the wrong place.  It's too close to the center.  They probably welded it right on top of the frame rail.  It's supposed to be welded right where the the floor pan an extension meet up.

I know most people dont but i like the bench seat column  shift birds  , more of a real cheapo road runner muscle car feel
