What kind of mpg would you expect from a /6 4x4?

I've got a chance to buy my late friend's old mid-70s Dodge pickup with a 225 and I was just wondering what kind of mpg I might get out of something like that? Would it be worse than a V8 or about the same? I can't remember now if it's manual or auto. I'll have to ask.

I think it would get about 18 MPG.
