well its was time to start looking for a vehicle for my daughter and while most of her friends are wanting little toy cars and new camaros and mustangs my daughter informs me she wants a red ram truck 94-2001 body style :icon_smile_big: :scratchchin:, so we go to a few dozen places and happen up on this recent trade in of a one owner 98 slt quad cab 360 auto, 58000 original miles was used as a farm truck real clean in and out a couple of paint blemishes and needs tires but overall a decent truck, you would have thought i just bought her a 69 daytona or something with the grin she had. anyway heres my daughter and HER Dodge.

What a cute kid, you must be proud.  I love the fact that she wants a truck.  Nice looking truck also.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

great and nice taste

that would be the Ram truck body stile I would choose too... next ones are simply GIANT TRUCKS. Weird they don't include a ladder to get in ::)

why would you assume she'd get into wreck? According to insurance companies females drivers are safer drivers since they pay lower premiums. Personally I've never been in a wreck when I was teenager.

because 9 times out of 10, teenagers, even girls get in wrecks!! thats why they have created so many new laws now stating that teenagers can only have certain amounts of people in the vehicles, cant drive past a certain time. I live in a traffic ridden city and it happens, alot!

That's happened here in Ct.  The fact that she chose a truck puts her way up on the responsibility list kid right off the bat.

The limts on # of kids per car make sense, but IMHO the hour restrictions are just screwing the kids.

People can talk safety, but I think it has a lot to do with parents wanting their kids to only be able to drive when it benefits them (the parents).  A 16yo driver can be very convenient for carting around younger siblings and taking themselves to work (to pay for the car).  When I was a teen there were a lot of kids who were kept so busy that they wouldn't have even been able to use their car for anything before 9 or 10 oclock at night in the first place.

Great choice
That truck looks nice. :2thumbs:

Thanks guys, she took drivers ed, and keeps an A average in school so thst took 30% off the insurance, she likes dodge trucks and old musclecars the truck was more practical and cheaper. shes a really good driver but kids will bend one occasionally but where we live a traffic jam is more than two cars on the road at the same time so she has a little better odds than those living in a big city.

Khyron

she even matches it with the red shirt! hehehe

very nice truck!

Always liked the 2nd Gen rams, mine is a '01 2500 QC LB HD.  The ride from higher up gives her a much better view down the road than a low slung ricer rocket.  Good choice for first wheels.
